"Fwee. I did this a earlier this year. Only now I just got around to scanning and colouring it. It's of Sonic the Hedgehog, well, atleast my version of him. It's for my fanfic, the Legend of the CHAOS. The Mobians are able to use magic, but only of a certain element - Sonic using Lightning element - and such. He wasn't originally meant to have a shotgun, but I was in the middle of art class, and hadn't really planned all of the story, so yeah, no sword for him yet.

I don't know if I'll get around to drawing the other cast members. I might. I might not. But I definately have to draw my fan characters for the fic, that's for sure.

Anyway, the media I used for this was a pencil at first, and when scanned, I used Adobe Photoshop's Filter -> Brush Strokes -> Ink Outlines. And from then on, I zoomed in and used a paint brush to colour it. After that long couple of hours, I was trying to figure out what to do next, so I added a lens flare over the center of the electricity in Sonic's hand, and then used another program, Ulead Photo Express, to chuck in the little stars, and add an awesome effect.

Damn, it took forever, but it's now my new favourable. Mrawl. =3"
